Concerts
Eastern Creek Raceway is a licensed concert and music
festival venue.
Single stage concerts are conducted in a natural
amphitheatre. Up to 90,000 music fans can be accommodated on a
huge grassed slope.
Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi have performed in the
amphitheatre at Eastern Creek Raceway.
Multi stage locations, ideal for music festivals and
lifestyle events also exist on the hills surrounding the road
race track.
During concerts the air-conditioned building in the raceway
pit area is transformed into performers dressing rooms and
promoters offices.
A permanent medical centre is located on site.
To assist in reducing costs staging can be set up and removed
without affecting on track activity.

Success at Eastern Creek - February 2009
Approximately 30,000 fans turned out for the Soundwave
Festival at Eastern Creek International Raceway on 22 February.
"The event went incredibly well, based on the feedback from
festival-goers and the promoter," said chief executive Geoff
Arnold.
